Our Journey

After several years of research and development of products in the automotive field, while working from a humble setup in Bandra, Mumbai, Indent Designs decided to walk a parallel path to e-mobility.

We decided to design a personal mobility product that was customised for the Indian road conditions. The journey with the Ibex Series Wheelchair started in 2016 in a make-shift workshop built inside a humble cow-shed in Goregaon East, with aspirations to be incubated in SINE IIT-B.

With the help of the accelerator program, SCube, Indent Designs was finally incubated at SINE IIT-B in 2018. When the team grew, we moved to Wadala, our first experience of industrial life as sales started with a bang.
